Dr. Montooth is a specialist in family medicine and previously served as a full-time faculty member at Forest Park Hospital Family Medicine Residency. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School, completed her residency at Forest Park Hospital, and conducted her post-residency faculty development fellowship at Family Medicine of St. Louis and the University of North Carolina. Dr. Montooth is also a volunteer faculty member at St. Louis University. She serves as a clinical preceptor and teaches 3rd and 4th year medical students in the office during their Family Medicine rotations.

Dr. Montooth has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America ® from 2019 to 2020.

Dr. Moontooth has been awarded Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association for patient care in Diabetes. NCQA, in partnership with the American Diabetes Association, developed the Diabetes Recognition Program to recognize clinicians who have met standards demonstrating delivery of high quality care to patients with diabetes.
